Medical Detoxification

The first step toward recovery begins with safe, comfortable detoxification under 24/7 medical supervision at our Pooler facility.

Safe Withdrawal Management

Our medical detox program typically lasts 3 to 7 days, depending on the substance, severity of dependence, and individual health factors. Throughout the entire process, our board-certified physicians and nursing staff provide continuous monitoring to ensure your safety and minimize discomfort.

We utilize Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) when clinically appropriate, using FDA-approved medications to ease withdrawal symptoms, reduce cravings, and stabilize brain chemistry. MAT has been shown to significantly improve outcomes and reduce the risk of relapse during early recovery.

  • Opioids (Heroin, Fentanyl, Prescription Painkillers)

Outpatient Programs

Flexible treatment options that allow you to receive high-quality addiction care while continuing to live at home and fulfill your daily responsibilities.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Our PHP provides the most intensive level of outpatient care, running 2 to 4 weeks with clients attending structured programming 5-6 days per week, approximately 6 hours per day. PHP serves as an ideal step-down from residential treatment or as a primary treatment option for those who need intensive support but have a stable home environment.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

The IOP runs for 8 to 12 weeks and meets 3-5 days per week for 3 hours each session. This level of care is designed for individuals stepping down from PHP or those whose clinical needs allow for greater flexibility while still receiving meaningful therapeutic engagement.

Standard Outpatient Program

Our standard outpatient services offer ongoing support with 1-2 sessions per week, focusing on relapse prevention, continued skill building, and long-term recovery maintenance. This is the final step in our continuum of care before alumni and aftercare programming.

Dual Diagnosis Treatment

Addressing both addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders simultaneously for truly comprehensive, lasting recovery.

Integrated Approach to Co-Occurring Disorders

Research consistently shows that substance use disorders and mental health conditions frequently co-occur. At LWR Helpline, we recognize that treating only the addiction without addressing underlying mental health issues significantly increases the risk of relapse. Our dual diagnosis program takes an integrated treatment approach, simultaneously addressing both conditions with a unified clinical team.

Our licensed psychiatrists, therapists, and addiction specialists collaborate to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that targets the root causes of both disorders, helping clients understand how their mental health and substance use are interconnected.

Co-Occurring Disorders We Treat

  • Depression and Major Depressive Disorder
  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Panic Disorder
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Personality Disorders
  • Trauma and Grief-Related Conditions
